Zack Larez is a professional storyboard artist, actor and filmmaker. 

He got his start in the film industry with acting, beginning in Florida with short films and making his way to Los Angeles in 2013. He has since earned his eligibility to join the Screen Actors Guild from his work on the feature film SEDONA (2011). A trained actor, he intends to continue acting whenever the opportunity presents itself. You can catch him briefly on the FX series MAYANS M.C. as the Mayans biker "Flagstaff". 

 

Today, Zack is primarily known for his work as a storyboard artist. He has boarded some of the most noteworthy music videos and commercials in recent memory. His credits include two videos with Lizzo: "About Damn Time" and "Special", Eminem & Snoop Dogg's animated video "From the D to the LBC" and Doja Cat/Tyga's "Freaky Deaky". He's also done music videos for: Madison Beer, John Legend, Faouzia, Don Omar, Lil Uzi Vert, Illenium and several more. 

Commercially, Zack boarded the opening to the Weeknd's Superbowl Halftime Show. He has done several campaigns for Nike, Google and Microsoft, among others. He boarded the "Greatest Watch Party of all Time" Google x NBA spot, which played during the playoffs and for which Zack was invited into The Art Directors Guild Local 800 in Hollywood, California as a Senior Illustrator. 

 

Theatrically, He boarded all major sequences for the upcoming film LAST NIGHT ON EARTH by director Marcos Efron from the Conley Entertainment Group. He wants feature film storyboarding to become his career focus, as he is uniquely qualified to excel in this specific application. He trained in and worked as a script supervisor on close to 70 films and commercials before transitioning fully to storyboarding. This makes him the ideal companion to any live-action filmmaker when planning the shots of their movie. 

In the realm of video games, Zack has storyboarded all major esports events for Riot Games from 2020 to 2023, including both League of Legends and Valorant. Zack was the original storyboard artist behind Valorant esports from its conception. He also boarded the videos for Gamers8 2023, held in Dubai. 

Zack fills the rest of his time dungeon-mastering Dungeons & Dragons, running his local game store RPG club, running an online community of top-level storyboard artists, streaming art and video games on Twitch, making YouTube videos and exploring photography.

His near-future plans include opening his own combination art & photo studio, monetizing original hybrid live action and animation content, getting his scripts optioned and resuming his acting career. He is, at any time, ready to begin directing.
